Out of 223 academic institutions, 87% of them use AI to make a final decision for admission. 1. Georgia State University (Pounce)

After the inception of Pounce in Georgia State University, the entire college admission and management process has altered. When the university noticed a significant fall in student enrollment, it brought Pounce as a random control trial.

During this trial, the chatbot received more than 50,000 messages and successfully responded to all of them with just 1% staff intervention. After enjoying the massive success of Pounce, Scott Burke, the assistant VP of the University, proclaimed, “As a result of the success of last season’s trial, we are not only continuing our use of Pounce this year, but also expanding its role to include several new initiatives focused on enrollment and success.”

2. University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (Phlash)
